The Garricks Head is a fantastic pub right at the heart of the Flixton community in Trafford. Our stunning Tudor-style pub has stood proudly in Greater Manchester since 1830 and is named after famous 18th Century actor David Garrick! It’s the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy your favourite drinks whatever the occasion!

We’re even just a stone’s throw from Trafford Football Club, and a short drive from the Trafford Centre and Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United!

🎬 Exciting News for Urmston & The Garrick’s Head! We were so proud to have Small Prophets — the new BBC drama — filmed right here in our home town of Urmston, and even more thrilled that The Garrick’s Head was chosen as one of the filming locations! It was an incredible experience watching the cast, including Mackenzie Crook and Michael Palin, at work and seeing behind the scenes of a real TV production. Now seeing it all come to life on screen makes it even more special. A moment we won’t forget — and one we’re very proud to be part of! 🍻
